BECOMING A FOUNDATION SCHOLAR

Foundation shall grant individual scholarships to selected students pursuing the M.A. (Economics) programme at CESP, JNU.

The students shall be selected by the Managing Committee on the basis of operational rules as adopted by the Board of Trustees, from time to time.

Some general pointers:

1. Students admitted to M.A. (Economics) programme at CESP, subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria (to be included in the advertisement seeking the applications), shall collect the application form from the CESP office and submit the same completed in all respects (including all the required evidence) within the due date to the CESP office. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected. No application shall be received after the declared due date and hour.

2. The documents shall be scrutinized by the competent officers.

3. Subject to the satisfaction of the eligibility requirements and in line with the applicable operational rules, a list of eligible students (across all categories) will be prepared by the Foundation.The Foundation is committed to disburse a minimum of INR 3000/- per month as a scholarship to no less than 10 students.

4. The scholarship will be given upto a total duration of two years or between date of admission and date of declaration of declaration of FGPA, whichever is lower.

5. The Foundation shall make the transfer to recipients of the scholarship, ordinarily, within 15th day of every month.

6. Continuation of receipt of scholarship in semesters 2, 3 and 4 shall require submission of a certified copy of proof of registration for every semester (subject to a maximum four) to the CESP office. Upon receipt of the necessary confirmation from the CESP office, the transfer to the recipients will be made by the Foundation.
